Light of the Heart: A Day of Art, Compassion, and Connection in Munich with Anna Stukkert, Klara Pecherskaya, Tatyana Sazonova, Lyudmila Sipilina

As May 1st ushered in the bloom of spring and global celebrations of unity, a unique event in Munich offered something even deeper — a moving tribute to human kindness, creativity, and intergenerational care.

For the fourth year in a row, Teplyi Dom by Anya, the charitable project founded by Anna Stukkert, transformed the day into a vibrant celebration of soul and solidarity for the city’s senior citizens. With the support of devoted collaborators Klara Pecherskaya, Tatyana Sazonova, and Lyudmila Sipilina, the gathering bloomed into a heartfelt fusion of performance, empathy, and action.

At the center of the event was the premiere of Hallelujah of Love, an original theatrical production written and directed by Tatyana Sazonova from Odesa. With powerful symbolism, the story portrayed a journey from darkness to redemption through love.

Gencho Todorov’s intense portrayal of Satan, alongside Nadezhda Kravchenko as the embodiment of Love, left the audience visibly moved. The climax — an angel, played by Aurelia Todorova, offering a red heart painting that transforms darkness into light — became the soul of the entire day, especially as it unfolded to the haunting beauty of music from Juno and Avos.

Music and generosity echoed throughout the event, with singers Anna Derevianko and Anna Brandt contributing both their talent and time as volunteers.

But the celebration didn’t end at the curtain call. The atmosphere overflowed with joy as attendees shared grilled meals, danced, recited poetry, and enjoyed live music. Among the most stirring moments was Alexandra Zalevskaya’s uplifting wheelchair dance performance, Keep Going and Never Give Up — a vivid display of resilience and hope.

In a touching new development this year, the seniors themselves led a charitable initiative: a fundraiser to benefit Ukrainian orphans. It was a powerful gesture of compassion — older generations reaching out to protect and uplift the youngest.

Teplyi Dom by Anya continues to grow as a beacon of warmth and shared humanity. Rooted in love and fueled by the belief in kindness as a force of transformation, it invites all to be part of a movement that lights the way through difficult times.

And in the words of its founders:
This is just the beginning.
